Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to proper guidelines
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills to keep track of dishes and utensils
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills:
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hotel, restaurant, or catering industry standards is beneficial
- Understanding of food service and hospitality principles
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and noise
